Short Bio
The focus of my career has been on understanding people’s perspectives and interactions with the natural world. For the last two decades I have been an environmental planner and currently am using community-based social marketing to affect business behaviors to improve storm water quality on Oahu. My background includes an undergraduate degree in environmental science (Washington State University), a masters degree in environmental studies (Yale University) and agricultural and educational work as a Peace Corps volunteer in Thailand.
